GroPro Achieves Registration of Seven First-Generation Products in Egypt

The registrations mark an important milestone for GroPro in Egypt and pave the way for further development of organic crop protection and biofertilizer solutions.

GroPro have reached an important milestone in Egypt, with seven first-generation products officially registered following reported strong performance during the previous agricultural season.

According to Dr. Saad Jafar, Director of the Central Institute for Organic Agriculture, the registrations follow the products’ demonstrated efficiency and represent a significant step forward for the company’s work in the Egyptian agricultural market.

Advancing Research and Development

Following the registrations, the Central Institute for Organic Agriculture held a meeting with Jeff Hill, GroPro’s senior scientific advisor, to review research and development (R&D) results for the registered products and discuss plans for the next generation of solutions.

Discussions included the planned introduction of a second generation of organic pesticides and biofertilizers, reflecting the ongoing development of our technology portfolio and its focus on advancing natural chemistry for agricultural applications.

Building Opportunities for Collaboration

The meeting also addressed plans for a potential cooperation protocol intended to facilitate the accreditation of organic products in collaboration with the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

Coordination toward the proposed agreement is ongoing. If established, the collaboration could help create additional opportunities for organic product accreditation and support broader market access for eligible agricultural solutions.

The initiative also aligns with Egypt’s ambition to strengthen its position in regional organic agriculture and expand opportunities for agricultural exports.

Looking Ahead

The registration of seven first-generation products marks an important step in our continued development in Egypt. With further product development and potential institutional collaboration underway, we are focused on advancing our portfolio of natural chemistry solutions for growers and agricultural markets.

As GroPro continues to develop its technology platforms and expand its reach, milestones like this support our broader ambition: engineering natural chemistry into effective, commercially relevant solutions for modern agriculture.
