Experienced agricultural commercial leader joins GroNatural to accelerate North American growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and expand adoption of the company’s innovative natural chemistry technologies.
BURNSVILLE, Minnesota – 16.10.2026 – We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kira Sappington as Vice President of Commercial – North America.
Kira brings extensive experience in agricultural sales leadership, specialty crop markets, commercial strategy, and the introduction of innovative crop protection technologies. Her appointment represents an important step in GroNatural’s growth strategy as we accelerate commercialization of our proprietary AMPx® Bioactive Amplification and MAX® Controlled-Delivery Technology platforms across North America.
In her new role, Kira will lead the North American commercial strategy and execution, with responsibility for accelerating revenue growth, expanding distribution partnerships, strengthening relationships with growers and agricultural retailers, and building a scalable commercial organization.
A central priority will be translating our technology platforms and expanding product portfolio into commercially successful solutions that deliver measurable value to growers and channel partners.
Proven Experience in Agricultural Innovation and Commercial Leadership
Prior to joining GroNatural, Kira held commercial leadership positions at Vestaron Crop Protection, an agricultural biotechnology company developing innovative peptide-based crop protection solutions.
In her most recent role, Kira held broad commercial responsibility across the United States and Canada, overseeing National Accounts, strategic distribution partnerships, and regional sales channels. She was instrumental in expanding Vestaron’s distribution network, strengthening key industry relationships, and driving commercial adoption of innovative crop protection technologies.
Earlier in her career, Kira held commercial roles at Corteva Agriscience, further developing her expertise across the agricultural value chain.
Her background combines practical knowledge of grower requirements, agricultural distribution, specialty crop markets, and the commercial challenges associated with introducing next-generation crop protection technologies.
Accelerating GroNatural’s North American Growth
As Vice President of Commercial – North America, Kira will focus on strengthening our established agricultural markets while accelerating expansion into new commercial opportunities.
Her priorities will include growing adoption of the company’s product portfolio across specialty crops and Turf & Ornamental markets, expanding strategic distributor and retailer partnerships, and advancing commercialization opportunities for the MAX® technology platform.
She will also play a key leadership role in establishing the commercial capabilities, customer programs, and strategic partnerships necessary to support GroNatural’s long-term growth ambitions.
